Candace Vance is an American actor and singer.  From Musical Theatre to Cabaret, Wilde to Gunderson, Shakespeare to Ayckbourn, Cho to Ibsen, Candace works fluidly across style and revels in the diverse experiences that can be created in live Theatre.

Most notably, Candace has appeared at A Contemporary Theatre, Seattle Shakespeare Company, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Book-It Repertory Theatre, Taproot Theatre Company (Lady Chiltern in An Ideal Husband, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, Killaine in The Clearing, among many others)and Seattle Public Theatre (among others--Chloe in The 13th Of Paris, Mary in The Language Archive, Paula in My Wonderful Day).  Candace has also enjoyed working outside of Seattle, particularly at The Barrow Group in NYC, as Julieta in the National Tour/Spain of Romeo y Julieta, and in The Quality of Mercy: A Tour of Love through Shakespeare’s Words in Paris, France.

Candace has received numerous distinctions, most meaningful to her are several Footlight Awards.  Her favorite distinction, however, remains wife of American artist Sam Vance, vancearts.com.
